What We Do Here at Jack’s Helping Hand

Jack's Helping Hand was founded by Paul and Bridget Ready in memory of their son Jack, whose three-year struggle with a rare form of brain cancer ended in 2004.
In August 2016, Abigail Joy was diagnosed with a heart defect called pulmonary atresia and VSD (a hole in her heart). She was treated at Valley Children's Hospital in Madera. Jack's Helping Hand has been there for Abigail and her family helping them with travel, food, and lodging. We will continue to assist her as she grows up with anticipated future doctor appointments and procedures.
