Jack’s Helping Hand assists more than 250 individuals each month in San Luis Obispo County.
We provide support in your time of crisis. Our staff, volunteers, and donors have been in your shoes with our siblings, children, parents, and/ or friends. We are here for you, and your family is our #1 priority.
We provide community programs that meet the unique challenges of children with cancer or special needs who are under the age of 21 and live in SLO County. We had a 54% increase in requests fulfilled from 2016 to 2019 and we project a 20% increase in requests fulfilled each year moving forward.

At 2 months old, Kallan was diagnosed with Bilateral Neuroblastoma meaning he had two tumors; one on each adrenal gland. He is now 8 months old and was recently cleared to discontinue chemotherapy. Jack’s Helping Hand has assisted Kallen and his family by providing financial assistance throughout a very difficult year.
